The theatre has become a huge part of Ella's life, whether it be watching it or taking part (acting).

She's a member of The Little Theatre in Leicester and The Festival Players in Loughborough where she has acted, had some backstage roles, worked behind the theatre bar, and been part of production planning, membership and marketing committees.

Ella's first love is acting – with roles such as Doris in The Thrill of Love, Vi in This Happy Breed and Elizabeth in The Long Road.

She admits that her second love is writing and loves being able to do so as part of her job as a Content Editor. She loves getting creative!

Her most memorable theatre moment came when watching The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night Time. She says "I’ve never seen anything like it. A real mixture of all things theatre – great challenging acting, real people representation, stunning visuals and choreography. A visual feast!"

Ella believes that "theatre is a great means of escapism as well as entertainment. It’s also a great reflection on life."
