Based in London, Rachel works as a freelance dancer and writer, mainly within arts journalism. She's written many articles for a number of independent cultural publications including The Skinny (Scotland), Desktop Magazine (Australia), and LeftLion (Nottingham) where she filled the role of Arts Editor, meaning she got to see more than her share of dance and theatre which she admits is "the best part of being an arts writer!"

She loves being on stage as much as being a part of the audience and is now focusing on a career in contemporary dance, having danced previously at Disneyland Paris and Warner Leisure.

Whether dancing or writing, Rachel says it's all about experiencing the magic of theatre. And cake. Cake is important too.
