Sammi, from East Grinstead in West Sussex, has a deep-seated love for the theatre which she has held since she was very young. She became involved in amateur dramatics for a while but soon came to the conclusion that she got more pleasure from watching productions than being in them.

In the 90's Sammi became a theatre reviewer for a local newspaper and presented 'Songs From The Shows' on a local hospital radio station before emigrating and having children. At that point theatre had to take a back-seat for Sammi but now that her kids have grown up and she's back in the UK she's putting theatre very much back on the agenda!

Living in West Sussex means she's close to the West End which she visits as often as time and money will allow and she is a great champion of local theatre.

Sammi admits that musicals are her first love but she enjoys all aspects of theatre and live entertainment and is excited to be working with Downstage Centre to promote the arts both regionally and in London.

She also curates her own theatre website, Theatre South East.
